As everybody probably knows by now, I have a soft spot in my heart for WinFS. I don't know what it is, but it definitely holds some special attraction for me.
So, I've been following Mike Deem's blog, and in particular have gone back to read his post "A Complete Failure" several times. Mike begins the post by quoting a different post in which Joe Gregorio states that he thinks WinFS will be "a complete failure" with the cause being that WinFS is a solution without a problem.

Basically I'm waiting with baited breath for WinFS to save me from my own xml files.
And just what could WinFS do for Ian?
