I'm working tonight on getting part two of my ASP.NET custom handler tutorial out. It ought to be ready in a couple days - I'm doing all the super lame work right now (readme file, screen shots, blabbity blah blah blah). The actual meat of the tutorial was written months ago, but I got caught up in this, that, and the other thing.
Anyway, while prepping this sucker, I stumbled across the old section of my site called the "Neopoleon Guide to Life." I had great ambitions for it (and still have them, although I've put them on hold for the moment), and managed to get a couple decent pieces out before getting swamped with work last summer.
One of them actually had me laughing tonight. If you're a Neopoleon newbie (post-July reader), then you probably haven't seen:
The Neopoleon Guide to Security in a Post 9/11 America
I know it isn't cool to laugh at your own stuff, but I couldn't help myself.
It isn't going to put you on the floor laughing, but it's an entertaining little read that's worth a look. It's also the first comic that I put up on the site. The second one was "The Truth about Car Alarms," and it wasn't half-bad, either.
Just a little heads-up in case you actually enjoy the stuff I write. If you do, you'll like these two pieces.
And, if you're curious about part one of my ASP.NET custom handler tutorial, then you can read it here.
Back to work, then...
