I say the developer should be summarily dismissed for his incompetence. I've seen guys like this before, and I can tell you that these are the same types of worthless humps who accidentally message thousands of users with the slip of a quotation mark. It's no wonder everyone outsources these days.

Jeeze...thats a good reason why some people are paranoid about using the internet.

Im mean cmon, what kind of developer is this person. He should atlest had a check list.

Test for Wireless

1. Make sure DB is secure from the whole world
2. Verify restricted IP addresses
3. Double check #2
4. Double check #3
5. Pray the network admin knows how to do his job
6. Begin test.

I totally agree with you, TJ, but I think it's probably cheaper to skip items 1-5, and *that's* what matters, right?

Developers who worry about exposing millions of people's social security numbers are PANSIES!

PANSIES, I SAY!
