I haven't been reading any blogs lately.
I mean that. None.
I made the transition about a month ago to using my tablet as my main machine, turning my Acer laptop into a dedicated music recording/making/whatevering device.
Since that happened, I still haven't installed an RSS reader on this box. I'd go grab SharpReader, but I only have 512 MB of RAM on here, and SharpReader, though great, does require a bit in the way of memory (at least in my experience).
Long story short, when something interesting happens, I miss it.
Tonight, though, Bliz emailed me to notify me of a recent update on his site. It's called "The Where's Rory Game," but Jim affectionately refers to it as "a sleazy waste of web services and internet bandwidth."
It's pretty cool. Basically, Jim took my MSDN Events schedule and has created a strange, but interesting, novelty game with it and MapPoint web services.
Actually, "game" might not be quite the right word.
Games are typically fun and have a point, but as a piece of novelty software, "Where's Rory" is nifty. Check it out.
