Scott and Patrick are the first "real world" speakers today.
What's interesting is that the whole of their talk (object/relational mapping) was poo-pood in earlier discussions.
Isn't that odd? That the academic talks poo-pood the stuff that Scott and Patrick used to write the software that drives some ridiculously huge quantity of world banking?
Moi, je trouve ca un peu bizarre.
So far, the talk is quite detailed. Scott and Patrick are explaining how their "Voyager" platform works.
Unfortunately, I've been a little distracted for the past few minutes.
Scott was reading my blog before going up, and he specifically requested that, when I do a stick figure of him from his talk, I paste a photo of his real head (none of this fake head crap) on his figure's body.
To comply, I've been PhotoShopping away.
At any rate, even though I missed a bit of the talk, I think I can sum it all up easily here:

Scott and Patrick talking about XML
It's also worth noting that Scott, in true Hanselman style, could be seen this morning showing off CodeRush (he was demoing it to Steve Maine).
If you've ever run into Scott at a conference, you know that there are two (2) things Scott talks about:
- His sex appeal
- CodeRush
I love you, Scott.
