Presenting in Eugene and Corvallis, Oregon next week

Word to your mother.

The talks (as those of you who entered the contest no doubt know) will be:

- Object Oriented Programming in VB.NET

- Location and Intelligence using MapPoint Web Services

- Optimizing ASP.NET 1.1 Web Applications

- ASP.NET 2.0 Membership & Personalization

I'd try to sell you on the event, but I think I'll let George Clingerman do that for me (George: I am flattered as hell - thank you (the only thing with which I take issue is that I didn't make up the "Clipboard Inheritance" or "Fire 70% of your developers" jokes - I credited them during the talk to Mark Dunn and anonymous, respectively - no harm done, though - I wish I had made that stuff up :) )).

The schedule (click on links for event details)

- 10/26/2004: Eugene, Oregon

- 10/28/2004: Corvallis, Oregon

Hope to see a few of you there...

Hey, I've been to Eugene!

I remember Oscar's at the hotel I was staying at, having good BBQ at some place name Two Guys (which was where near Symantec had the CSR department/building) and driving by The Great Alaskan Bush Company (which was painted pink and had no Agway products) on the way in from the airport...

Um. I think I'll shut up now.

well bugger me. Corvallis. they really are making you take the word of ASP.net out to the dreg ends of the PNW, or at least the tier 2 colleges.

Sadly I am no longer resident in the town, a fact I miss as the ski season rapidly approaches. Though it does mean you wont have me hecking from the audience the moment you put some XML up on screen...
