And it's a ladie's jacket (which isn't to say that I wouldn't wear an article of feminine clothing - I just wouldn't wear a woman's jacket as hideous as the one pictured).

I doubt that "Rory has a new girlfriend". I guess he is being pedantic refering to the fact that the opposite of "single" can be everything but not automatically "having a girlfriend" :-)
