Joe Stagner is that really irritating person who’s on every team.
He’s the one who is constantly doing things that raise the bar for everybody else, thereby making their jobs harder.
Here I was, thinking that I was doing all right as an MSDN Events presenter, but then Joe comes along and does this whole Digital Blackbelt Developer Security Web Casts thing (it starts tomorrow, so you’ll want to go sign your ass up now if you’re interested). I mean, he’s branded. Why don’t I have anything that’s branded?
Huh, Paul? Why?
Oh, I know – I can hear your excuses now:
– “Because, Rory – you can’t get your expense reports in on time.”
– “Because, Rory – you’re unreliable.”
– “Because, Rory – you failed a drug test, not by peeing in a cup, but by being in the same room as one of those cups. You contaminated an entire box of urine cups just by your close proximity and vaporous effluence.”
Well, yeah, but give me three good reasons. This just isn’t fair.
