Scott and Rory: The Stupidity Continues...

Scott and I are releasing our second in a series of utterly amateurish and silly TechEd promos today.

I love this one. I liked the last one, but this one… I don’t know. There’s just something about being slapped, assaulted, and then hugged by Scott Hanselman in such a short amount of time and at such a high rate of speed.

It’s something I think we should all experience at some point in life.

For now, experience that joy second-hand by watching this video…

Thanks to Drew and everyone over at techedbloggers.net for hosting these videos :)

Chris liked it: http://sellsbrothers.com/news/showTopic.aspx?ixTopic=1731

And he's a member of MENSA.

Not that I'm saying anything.

I'm just sayin'...

I'm not a member of MENSA (my mom says they won't let me in on account of I'm smarter than them) but I liked it, too. For me, f-mail was the climax.

where is RFC1149 worked in? The app sounds like it would be far more efficient if you used RFC1149 instead of the ETP-WDSL-SOAP-XML-UDDI-HTML-LOL-SQL technique you described in the video.

oh yeah, and that chick at the end was hot.

Hi Rory,

I really like that video, it reminded me of some white board sessions I have spent with over eager developers/managers.

I featured (Well stole the content and embedded it into my page) on http://g2007.com, hope you don't mind.

I thought it was hilarious. For a second, I thought things were going to go "low budget porn film" at the end there when the third (female) person showed up... :)

I was like... "Oh no, Rory finally crossed over to soft-core after all these years of threatening to do it!?!?"

Altho, I did wonder what they had to do to keep you both in the bathroom that long...

To whom it may concern:

Rory here. I meant to write a whole post about this, but I'm going away for about eleven days, and probably won't be able to blog.

I'm currently looking out the window at the freaking enormous wing of the 747 that's going to take Aydika and me to Fiji.

So I'm going to be away for a brief little while :)

I wanted to post about it, but we've just been way too busy. Finishing up at work and prepping for this trip has been nuts.

Today has been especially crazy. It began with the news that the MD-80 which was supposed to take us to California so that we could connect to our Fiji flight wouldn't be able to take off because a reckless bird attacked it by flying its body directly into the plane's radar dome.

As of yet, no terrorist organization has come forward to claim responsibility for the attack, but you can rest assured the bird's relatives are being questioned in a secret location as we speak.

Anyway, I'm rambling. See you soon.

Love,

Rory

The funniest thing about that video is that I have worked on a project where it was almost exactly like you were describing. Actually now thinking about it, it isn't that funny actually it is really rather sad. Not the video mind you, oh no, the fact that I have worked on a project that you described in the video is both funny and sad. Oh well now I am confused so I will shut up.

Funny video
