Naughty, naughty, naughty!

[WARNING: This post deals with adult material. It contains a highly suggestive image of a space station, and also features a naughty word which begins with the letter “D.” If you feel that you are not emotionally equipped to read this post, then, by all means, go away.]

While working out today I watched the last episode of Doctor Who again.

A couple things I noticed:

1) Billie Piper steals the show

2) There is a giant dildo attached to the space station

Item number one is cool, and I am now a Billie Piper fan where I may not have been prior, but item number two is what really got my attention today.

Check out this screen capture from about the 9:47 mark:

Can you see it? If not, take a look at this – it’s the upper-right corner of the shot, but doubled in size:

I think I’m on to something here.

Those naughty Dr. Who people.

hey rory,
wasnt that space station also a media satellite control center, if i remember the two episodes correctly?
if so, does this mean that the producers are implying that the world media is nothing more than a bunch of dicks spinning around in circles? i dunno..maybe i'm stretching it a little there...
and yeah i noticed too..but my wife said i was nuts. too many beavis episodes have ruined me for t.v.

It looks like it may actually be a double-ended dildo (look at the other side)! I am just dying to use... um... I love my singl... but double?! with a friend! Ooohhh!

I mean... you filthy boy! It must simply be a contoured ...(cough)... more visually pleasing architectural design element. I suppose a shortened, flattened, blunt end would would be less pleasing, visually of course.

You're definitely reaching, but I like it :)

Great interpretation...

Well.

Um.

Ha ha.

Um.

[blush]

Uh. That's a slightly more enthusiastic comment than I expected :)

Yes.

Well.

Anyway.

Carry on, everybody. Don't just sit there with that "Did someone on Rory's blog *really* just express an interest in having sex with that space station?" look.

Hold on a sec, I need to get that "Did someone on this blog *really* just express an interest in having sex with that space station?" look off my face.... ;)

Now: I like the "spinning around in circles" theory as it sounds pretty logical to me.
And Rory: I really do think you're on to something here. I have noticed several very *interesting* innuendos, while watching the Dr. Who episodes. Let me see if I can find some visual proof for what I'm talking about...

It's interesting that you like Billie Piper. I heard on a radio show (yes I said radio - not podcast - the shame..) in which there was some debate over Christopher Ecclestone's 'gurning' (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gurning) during every episode of Dr Who.

A complaint was made as ridicule of facial features should first be directed at Billie Piper's lips as they resemble a "jack-knived hovercraft". Discuss...

Billie's features are unusual, yeah, but she's turned out to be quite the actress, and I dig her for that.

Everything about her in the last episode was perfect, right down to her voice. I just don't think they could have had a better close with anyone else.

(The hovercraft comment's still funny though :)

I apologize for not abiding your "carry on" request, but I must clarify; I was not "expressing an interest in having sex with that space station". I was expressing an interest in using a double-ended dildo to have sex with one of my girlfriends.

I just needed to clear that up. Thank you. Carry on.

Maybe it's related to the fact that the writer of the UK version of Queer as Folk is the writer and producer of the latest series of Dr. Who episodes?! Check out this interview with Russell T. Davies at http://www.bbc.co.uk/cult/news/drwho/2004/08/10/13635.shtml.
