What a deal

I like to browse Handango every now and then to see if there’s anything new I’d like to buy for one of my Windows Mobile devices.

There’s a lot of good stuff. There’s also a lot of crap.

Then there’s this.

I don’t know, man. Part of me thinks, “That’s pretty ****ing weird,” but another part of me thinks, “Hey – it’s only ninety-nine cents.”

[Update]

Check this one out, too.

People make some seriously weird stuff for mobile devices, yo.

[Update #2]

For when you’re done with the last two links, this one’s a beauty.

That first link is a load of crap. The second one is pretty shocking. And the third (to quote Paris Hilton): It's Hot!

I seem to think perhaps Rory needs to find more of these wonderful examples of "Oh my god. I know why I didn't think of that."

#2 has some utility to it, I guess.

There's only two real usable measurements for the distance to the lightning:

1. on top of you
2. somewhere else

(hint: 1. is not safe)

If, however, nr. 2 seems to becoming nr. 1, then you move, until the lightning is back at 2. I'd post a flowsheet but the textbox doesn't want to paste graphics.

Perhaps you should make a video of that, how to stay safe when it's a thunderstorm outside?

These two videos would be ideal topics for our next MSDN Events series, don't you think? I mean, we're really good at overview presentations, right? And we introduce topics that get attendees fired up and craving more info, so they might want to go watch webcasts on how to iron pants, or maybe even tablecloths. Or perhaps how to change a litterbox instead of a diaper. You've stumbled onto a gold mine here, guy!
