Dear Canadian Socialist Pigdogs

I’m going to be making a visit to the 51st state this weekend to take part in Vancouver Code Camp where I’ll be giving a talk on Windows Mobile development.

I’m planning on being there Saturday and Sunday. I don’t know what the plan is exactly, but Peter Stathakos and I have exchanged a few emails about having some din-dins on Saturday night.

Would any of you be interested in a little nerdery? Comment or email me if you’d like to be looped in.

I’m looking forward to a weekend of Canadian excitement. If at all possible, I’d like to arrange to be arrested and brutalized by the Canadian police, as I’ve always wondered what it would be like to be aggressively tickled by a group of three or four very polite men in nicely pressed uniforms.

I told them you look rather pale and sickly but if they searched deep enough they'd probably discover some contraband cheesy-poofs and would have to detain and arrest you for tranportation of non-indicitive cheesy-type foods from another nation.

...I'm going to MIX '06 in Vegas next week, this is exactly the kind of thing I'm worried about.

I think that there'll be a presenters dinner thingy on Saturday night, but Sunday is wide open, we can definitely do stuff. There's the St. Patrick's day parade on Sunday morning if you're into that sort of thing...

Oh, and there will be plenty of police around so we can arrange for that tickling at any time.
