AoE4 will showcase historical content with challenging real-time strategy game plays, by not limiting the game to one single era. Another thing that players will no longer see in AoE4 will be the microtransactions.
Halo Infinite
Xbox Game Studios is coming out with the 14th game of the Halo Series. Dubbed Halo Infinite, it is published for Microsoft Windows, as well as Xbox One and Xbox Series X. It is the sequel to Halo 5: Guardians. One of the things fans will look forward to is the return of the split-screen. Developed by 343 Industries and SkyBox Labs, they are looking at a Q4 2020 release date. Nicolas Bouvier and Curtis Schweitzer serve as the game’s artist and composer.
Valorant
Developed and published by Riot Games, Valorant was first known as Project A, its codename back in 2019. Released on June 2, 2020, this Microsoft Windows game is a first-person shooter tactical game set in the near future. It is played in teams of 5, one attacking, one defending. There are 2 game play modes – the standard game mode with 24 rounds and the Spike Rush mode with 7 rounds. It figured in a controversy over its anti-cheat software, saying that players could be spied on and the kernel drive could be exploited. Riot Games denied these and offered a bug bounty program to raise vulnerabilities in the software.
Temtem
Crema came out with a winner with the release of Temtem, an MMORPG that is quite alike to Pokemon Go. Published by Humble Bee, the game is released through Steam on January 21, 2020. In just a month, Temtem reported sales of 500,000 units in Steam. It has received very positive feedback from its users since its release. The gameplay involved capturing and collecting creatures, which players command in battles against other Temtems.
Evil Genius 2
Rebellion Developments is the developer and publisher of Evil Genius 2:World Domination, from the Evil Genius series. In this game available on Steam, players role play as villains who build their evil lairs, then defend themselves from the Forces of Justice and achieve global domination. It was announced at E3 2019 that the game will be released in 2020 on Steam.
